We are Kennedy Films, a multi-award winning media company. Our creative team develops, finances, produces and delivers high quality features and series across fiction and documentary. Our offices are located halfway between Belfast and Dublin in County Louth, at the heart of Ireland’s Ancient North-East.
Since our inception in 2012 Kennedy films has garnered a strong reputation in visual narrative storytelling for international audiences. Our award winning fiction and documentary films have enjoyed enormous success at international A-List film festivals, in theatres world wide and through online streaming giants. We are now developing long form narrative fiction and non fiction.
We are a small ambitious outfit, focused in story-telling that packs a hard hitting creative punch. Our multi-award winning fiction film My Name Is Emily starring Evanna Lynch (Harry Potter) launched our feature fiction strand in 2016 and we’ve been producing content ever since. Our documentary strand sets out to tackle issues with a social conscience with topics like disability (It’s Not Yet Dark 2017, narrated by Colin Farrell), gender equality (The Grass Ceiling 2020) climate justice (Atomic Hope 2022) and anti-war activism (The Shields 2024).
